FILIPE CRESPO
SKIPPER
Filipe has worked for over ten years in the recreational maritime industry. He skippered large catamarans around the island of Madeira and then proceeded to the touristic scene of Lisbon and Setúbal. He has a broad experience in the commercial and touristic nautical sector. He joins Roca Sailing after successfully owning and managing several companies in Portugal and France.
PALOMA ARIAS
LAND CAPTAIN
Paloma is a land-based Architect Master in Renewable Energy Engineering that fell in love with the sea after moving to Portugal. She brings to the team her expertise on Sustainability as well as an extensive Project Management experience. She's passionate about water sports and mountain biking.
GERTJAN ANDEL
SKIPPER
Gertjan’s life is the sea, sailing and water-sports are his biggest passion. After crossing oceans and seas for years, he joins Roca Sailing to share his passion and experience. He is a yacht maintenance and repair expert as well as a professional skipper. Last years he concluded five Transatlantic crossings in yacht deliveries and races, made many voyages around Europe, worked as a sailing instructor and participated in several important international regattas.
